What is the UBDHA?

The purpose of the UBDHA is to bring a group of hunters together and organize opportunities to participate in hunting competitions. UBDHA helps to provide guidelines for hunting competitions, keeping record of hunting competition results and member standings. The UBDHA also collects membership dues ($30/year) and uses the dues for the purpose of purchasing prizes to be awarded to the season high points winners.

What is a hunting competition?

The hunting competitions are set up so that up to two hunters and two dogs attempt to find 4 birds in a designated hunting area in less than 20 minutes. The teams receive scores for their dogs pointing/flushing ability, retrieving ability and the hunters shooting ability.

When and where are these hunts?

For info on upcoming hunts click on the Upcoming Hunts button on the left. The UBDHA plans on having at least 8-12 hunts between September and March.
